Yes, it's been a long timetime, and I really should not have left you, without a dope beat to step to. But that's alright! Because we're back with another hour of good tunes, hosted (badly) by me, this time with special guest hosts Grande Cobra and special guest producer Franzor. Had loads of fun last night putting it together, and now I'm super-excited that you all get to hear it- I hope you like it!

How cool is that? I went and opened iTunes to download the podcast, and it was already there! I must've subscribed to it after the last one. Cool as milk.

How precocious do I sound? Like, 'quit bothering me' - now you know the type o' gal Ian deals with every morning.

Thanks for playing my songs, lovely, chuffed! Also, nice on the Clone High clips.

Apologies for calling so late*, Nat...I shoulda called earlier and talked for longer. I wanted to do an interview thingy similar (although obviously not as long) to the one you did with me on your site, but obviously the timing was a bit off. Why don't you come and be a guest on the next show?

d

*and when I say 'late' I am of course using my grandmothers definition of late. Honestly, who is in bed at 10.15?

Me! ME! I AM! Do not judge me; I am a sleeper!

Cool, mister, I'll be glad to lend some Saffer accent flavour to the next 'Hour. Provided it's before my bedtime, of course.

As kids, late was friends of mine phoning after 9.

Nine is a fine threshold for kids and old people. Ten is fine for semi-old thirty-plussers like yourself. Sprightly young twentysomethings like me and Nat should have a threshold of eleven, at minimum.

I noticed that you mentioned loving Die! Die! Die! when they played the Shoreditch last June. Did you see that they're coming back to the UK starting next week?

Their MySpace (www.myspace.com/diediedienz) has what looks like a current gig list...

Anyone else coming?

I didn't know that, thanks for the heads up! Looks like they are playing a pretty extensive tour. The Koko show should be pretty crazy, I might try and make that one.

My threshold is

If my mobile is off, I'm asleep. If it's on, you can call.

If my mobile is off and it's an emergency call my home phone number repeatedly till I wake up. If you don't have my home phone number, then you probably don't have an emergency great enough that I will come out at 3am to sort you out.

Ok just listened to the cast. Sterling work. Very good show.

And The Pippettes. woo heeey.

Good work. Just like a real DJ, you don't name all the tunes. Keeps us guessing. (I'd also like to commend Natalie on her good taste.)

Never mind Dan's bit, how good is the Syncing with iTunes?

That bit is perhaps the most perfect, Ade :)

Ah thank you Annie!

Danzor I'd say this podcast thing is treating you quite well - no chance of upping the frequency to, oh, say, weekly?

I've thought about it Nat, but surely compulsion would be the death of quality? I listen to a lot of podcasts and some of them are pretty labored. I'd rather do one decent show than five mediocre ones.

Annie, if there's any song you can't figure out with Google, I'd be happy to identify it for you.

Or Shazam it.

I think the frequency is about right. It matches my ability to listen to it.

Oh and when I originally said the show was too long. I was wrong. it's about right. Granted you hadn't done any shows at that point.

Also buy a better mic so the radio shows can discover you and you can become famous.
