destruct\hour #6

You've got good taste in music. Your iPod is looking very respectable. You've whittled away the bad tracks, and come up with a playlist that comprehensively covers all your complex and diverse musical tastes. Whenever you want to hear your favourite song, whatever your mood, you can jump straight to it. You've done well.

But sometimes you get the feeling that you're missing something. That you've heard every song in your collection a few dozen times each and you want to hear something fresh, something suprising, something unique.

May I humbly suggest The Destruct\hour, my online hour of audio awesome? This week's ep is particularly good- we even managed to snag a special guest DJ for extra fun. Get in there!

After the highs of Destructhour #4 and #5, this is very good, but not as excellently excellent as the aforementioned.

Musical choice excellent, where on earth did you find the Aussie rapper? :-)I found you 'favourite part of the shoooow' was good but not as good as the music you've discovered for previous shows. The second band (future shape of sound?) was definitely better than the first one though.

Well done. Looking forward to the next one.

(I think you need to move everyone a bit closer to the mic and maybe feed it through some sort of compressor or expander, this will produce a hiss-free Destructhour #7!)

It's SIA not Gia. She's an Aussie.

Great show, except for the hiss.

Many apologies to all listeners for the hiss and the quietness of the voicebreaks. We had LOADS of mic trouble that night- our good mic broke so we ended up jury-rigging a mic out of a tape recorder, which obviously sounded really lame :( but ah well, low-budget is often the name of the game!

I thought that was the best sight-unsigned I've done in ages. You may not have liked the sound of Free Love & the Good Plant, but Rachael has a wonderful voice, and was also not only a lovely person, but absolutely beautiful (okay this isn't a good photo).

Future Shape of Sound is just....there is a whole album of songs that good (here's another track if you want one). SO well produced. And that's my friend Nomtai singing! I'm very proud.

I agree the sight-unsigned was very good. Although you kept calling it sight-unsigned and also sight-unseen.

She is cute.
