Waitress 'used bomb hoax to delay flight'

flight

I'd love to be outraged, but it's such an amusing example of the self-importance of teenagers (and subsequent bollocking for same) that it's just too delicious not to share.

In a similar vien of everyday stupidity taken to enormous heights, Nathan Fillon tried to buy a comic book for his mom (which he was on the cover of!) and came across the Comic Store Geek from Hell. His revenge? Mobilizing the enormous and potentially frightening Firefly fanbase against this one stupid and very unlucky sales clerk. If he's not fired from that store within a week, I'd be very suprised.

I'm a huge fan of instant and overwhelming karma, but still, it's odd and strangely disturbing to see the normally affable Nathan strike so viciously.

I'm not sure if it's so much about the self importance or the stupidity of teenagers.

Also if you read more on the Nathan Fillion comic book incident, it appears the issue did cost $20 and whilst Nathan may have had cause to get a bit agro, the fanbase as is typical in these situations has lost it completely and blown the whole thing out of proportion, and are most likely breaking harassment laws. Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with people these days. If you want a good example of self-importance the comments on that link of yours is it to the bone.

I completely agree. Which is why I described it as 'everyday stupidity taken to enormous heights'.
