How to make the perfect Pimms

| | Comments (6)

Ingredients

  • 1 Bottle Pimms
  • 1 Bottle Lemonade
  • 1 Bottle Canada Dry Ginger Ale
  • 1/2 Bottle Rose's Ginger Wine
  • A Cucumber
  • Some mint
  • Some apples
  • A lemon
  • A lime
  • Some mandarins
  • Some grapes (red & white)
  • Strawberries
  • Rasberries
  • A Chocolate Orange
  • Ice. Lots of ice.

the ingredients

Dice the fruit. Don't just chuck it in there, the flesh needs to be exposed to the Pimms for full soakage. Now add 1 part Ginger Wine to 3 parts Pimms, just enough to soak the fruits.

the mix

Now add 6 parts lemonade and 3 parts ginger ale. Precision is not essential, but the lemonade should definitely outweight the Pimms. For the moment. Put in a crapload of ice.

the drink

Consume! Top up with extra Pimms and lemonade as required (warning! many users may find the Pimms/lemonade ratio going wildly askew as the afternoon progresses)

The PImms!

I'm not sure that is so much "the perfect Pimms" as "a new cocktail (by Dan) that uses Pimms".

You should really find a new name for it. maybe zmmippimmz?

I'll put my Pimmz against any other Pimms in the world!

The girls only like it because of the chocolate anyway. It's such an obvious play I can't believe it works.

It's the drunkenness wot did it.

Is pulling that silly face essential?

That's what makes it sooooo good.
