Nothing much to report, it's all pretty confusing in terms of reports on what is happenning. I'm at work, but I'm pretty much by myself. I have a pretty great view of the city from my office so I can report the following:
++ The buses, at least the ones going past my building, appear to have stopped taking on passengers. This tracks with reports that there have been three (three?) explosions on buses throughout the city. The news sites are, as you'd imagine, loading very slowly, but I did read on SkyNews that one eyewitness said:
"I was on the bus in front and heard an incredible bang. I turned round and half the double decker bus was in the air,"
Jeebus.
++ Everyone milling about on the street has a cellphone to their head. Consequently, I'm unable to text or call anyone.
++ There's a lot of confusion about what has actually happened. Certainly some people have very definitely described bomb-going-off-like activity. Okay this just in: yep, there's footage of a destroyed bus in Tavistock Square, about two blocks from here. A lot of sirens. All the traffic is heading one way (out!) so the emergency vehicles are driving on the wrong side of the road.
Currently debating on whether I should walk home.

I think, what has gone off has gone off and there will be no more. Stillit might be quicker to walk home.
I agree- (although my paranoid side says that this might be like that pre-emptive strike in the second season of 24 to disrupt emergency services before the REAL attack).
But no I've just been told not to go out into the streets, so I'll stay put for now.
I am french and the only few words i can found is : i am english today and i share your pain . Like Chruchill say on free french radio during WWII : 'Tenez bon !"
